Chocodog - Chocolate for dogs

INGREDIENTS: Raw materials and/or by-products of vegetable origin: Maltodextrin, HFCS: High fructose corn syrup, Rice flour, Carob flour, RAW MATERIALS AND/OR PRODUCTS OF ANIMAL ORIGIN: Bovine fat, hydrolyzed chicken viscera, milk powder. ADDITIVES: Color: caramel / Flavor: vanilla.

ORIGIN: This remarkable American product was evolving from the one used by the Aztecs, to the sugar improver attached by the Spaniards. Cocoa has an alkaloid, low stimulant called Theobromine, with a certain diuretic effect. However, theobromine takes much longer to degrade in dogs and cats than in humans, remaining, therefore, longer in the blood.

HOW ITS MADEPREPARATION: Cane sugar is replaced by corn maltodextrin, that is, a glucose polysaccharide suitable for dogs and with a high capacity for conversion into ATP without nutritional contraindications in pets, in addition to providing extra energy in dogs with high caloric needs, for games or training.

On the other hand, COCOA is replaced by ROASTED CAROB, that is, the fruit of the carob tree. This ALBOL, with capital letters, is what the native peoples of the center of the country called it and Cuyo (Argentina).

Like all legumes, the beans have in its pods high levels of oil and, above all, very good quality protein. Roasting increases and enhances its flavor.

On the other hand, semi-hydrogenated avocado oil is added, which with the emulsifying capacity of maltodextrin, forms a good body and helps to release from the cast.

Whole milk powder is added with greater quantity in whites, which makes it a highly nutritious product.
